Areas where opportunities may arise in the future:

Contract / Project Managers
Candidates should have a proven track record in construction management with 3 years minimum experience at the appropriate level. A technical or trades background is equally acceptable.

Site Managers
Candidates should have approx. 10 years experience in the supervision of medium to large building projects and a proven track record. A trade or technical background is equally acceptable.

Site Engineers
Candidates should have a proven track record in construction site engineering with 3 years minimum experience at the appropriate level, together with a relevant third level qualification.

Quantity Surveyors
Candidates should have a proven track record in Quantity Surveying with 3 years minimum experience at the appropriate level, together with a relevant third level qualification.

Estimators
Candidates should have a proven track record in Estimating with 3 years minimum experience at the appropriate level, together with a relevant third level qualification.

Job Title:Quantity Surveyor
Location:LONDON
Description:

We currently have a vacancy for a Quantity Surveyor based in our London Office.

The role:
Reporting to the Contracts Director, the successful candidate will be involved in subcontractor procurement, cost control and analysis, measurement calculations, pricing and invoicing elements of work and will be involved in all aspects of financial and contractual control.

Candidate requirements:

  • 3rd level qualification in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / Civil Engineering or similar;
  • Min 5 years experience with main contractor or subcontractors, for some of which, time would have been spent in the Greater London area;
  • Commercial awareness/ business acumen;
  • Good planning and organisation skills;
  • Good construction knowledge;
  • Good interpersonal skills including professional communication skills (verbal and written);
  • Team player;
  • All successful candidates will need to satisfy pre-employment checks, including providing proof of their right to work in the UK.
