This project involved the demolition of existing stand and construction of a new stand. The track facilities remained operational throughout the course of the contract. Main features of the building included an insitu concrete frame with a mixture of precast and insitu terraces. Extensive sections of planar glazing were utilised on the facades and the roof comprised mainly of insulated cladding on complex structural steel trusses. Particular emphasis on quality internal finishes and audio-visual facilities ensured a high class entertainment venue was provided for race-goers.
