This development represents a flagship project for our clients. The state of the art facility accommodates 50 staff and 1050 students providing a diverse array of courses aimed at the Tourism and Leisure Industries. Space is allocated for language laboratories, catering training kitchens, sports science laboratories, computer laboratories, lecture theatres and auditoriums as well as restaurants/bar and public circulation areas.
 

Due to the diverse functional requirements of the building, mechanical, electrical and other specialist subcontractors required a high degree of coordination and management from the very start of the project. A full time Services and Finishes Coordinator was allocated to the project team with responsibilities for ensuring that all structural elements were meticulously planned to accommodate service routes, M&E installations, specialist joinery, components and specialist finishes.
 

The building also accommodates the Institutes boardrooms and directors' offices. This area was finished to the highest specification with custom built joinery and state of the art communication systems.  Direct liaison with the clients senior management was central to delivery of this element of the works.
