Our contract for the Cork Greyhound Stadium included fitting out the bars, restaurant and offices to a very high standard. As with many fit-out projects coordination of service installations by client contractors was a significant task on this project. A major internal feature of Cork Greyhound Stadium is the joinery and furniture. Low-level partitions, balustrades etc. are built from birch, plywood and beech. Handrails, fixings and frames for glass are all in stainless steel. This theme is carried throughout the building and doors, frames and skirting are suitably detailed. The main restaurant is quite dramatic, with tables and seating arranged in tiers to allow racing to be viewed through the glazed wall. |
