Located on the campus of Waterford Institute of Technology, this state of the art facility accommodates 50 staff and 1050 students pursuing courses in the economically vital services sector. The new facility contains lecture theatres, languages laboratories, recreation and leisure industry related classrooms, teaching areas, lecture theatres, lecture rooms, computer laboratories, support areas, offices and staff accommodation. With a gross floor area of 7,660m², this educational project involved fair face concrete and fair face block and brick finishes, together with a variety of different internal finishes. Mechanical, electrical and specialist works including catering fit-out works made up a significant proportion of the construction value of this highly serviced building.
