In 2008, Brian McCarthy Contractors acquired a site in Wroclaw, Poland to be developed in partnership with Harte Holdings, a Cork based Hotel developer, using the SPV McCarthy Harte sp z.o.o. The development consists of a 150 bedroom 4 star Hotel, 600m² Conference Centre, 36 apartments, 15,000m² of office space and 220 space underground car park on two levels. 

In November 2009 a deal was signed with Hilton to put a 4 star Hilton Garden Inn on the site. The full building permit for the development was also obtained in November 2009.  Date of commencement of Construction works: 16th December 2009.
